I think since I just made a post about my favorite wedding dresses I thought it would be nice if I also included something about these wonderful dresses made by Vera Wang Bridal. I think it's important to mention her because her dresses are far beyond a traditional look, but achieve that in a very elegant and chic way. Although I think some of her designs are a little too out there for me to imagine myself in them, they look so flawless and beautiful. Almost as if nothing could say wedding gown as much a vibrant hue of plum. I think her ability to work the fabric into strong shapes with feather like finishes is truly breathtaking. Following this are some of my favorites.

As of late i've been going on a wedding craze. I think recently the majority of my time has been spent on watching Say Yes to the Dress and on weddinginspirasi.com. It's not as if I even plan to get married, but it's the one time its alright to be as lavish as possible. These unreasonable dresses that you only get to wear once, or well however many times you marry, are so special that they have been made in a variety of ways. There are traditional dresses ivory and elegant, different silhouettes, and hues from red to blue. After drowning myself in wedding dress a month ago, I developed some strong preferences so I thought i'd share them with you.
One thing that I would find to be a MUST when wedding dress shopping is a sheath silhouette. I have a small frame and I think anything more would overwhelm me. But, I also find that a sheath dress is something more timeless and classic, so you can play around more with the finer details of the dress.

Another feature I really like is and open back, or a sheer back with appliques.
I love Claire Pettibone's wedding collections, they have such a feminine and delicate touch. I think she easily is my number one in terms of dress designers. The first picture I posted was one of her dresses and the one directly above. You can see the beauty in her designs, its really quite lovely.

I'm a little late in saying this, but happy 2014! I have to say 2013 has been a good year for fashion. 2013 featured some of my favorite prints of all time. From new takes on floral prints and baroque prints, it was all fresh and interesting.
There was also a huge stress on a strong, rounded shoulder. I think in real life the shoulders can become maybe a tad 80-esque, but on the runway they look terrible chic,
